CTA Exam Preparation Workshops
with Cathy McQuaid TSTA and Jim Davis TSTA
These workshops are designed to help participants prepare for and be successful at the CTA(P) exams – written and oral – whether they are at the beginning or advanced stage of preparation.
Whilst the workshops will be tailored to meet the specific needs of participants, options will include:
Cathy has over 17 years experience as a trainer. She was the EATA CTA exam coordinator for 5 years and in 2010 was presented with a Silver medal by EATA. She was a member of the Training Standards Committee of UKATA for 5 years and Chair for 1 year. In 2010 she was awarded a Doctorate in Psychotherapy for her research into TA psychotherapy training.
Jim has over 20 years of training counsellors, TA psychotherapists, and TA trainers and supervisors, and has
a proven track record of preparing TA trainees for exam success. He has been a regular member of staff on EATA Training Endorsement Workshops in Europe, and been Chair of trainers’ committee of UKATA for the past 8 years. He is a regular conference workshop presenter and speaker.
Our approach to running these workshops is based on the belief in the importance of recognizing and affirming participants’ experience, skills and personal qualities and supporting them in developing confidence in their readiness to succeed at the exams.
